Lombok Vibes - "The Tugu Hotel Lombok" 🏝

I'm finally back with a new blogpost, this time with a traveling one about my experiences in Lombok.

We decided to start our holiday in Lombok as I've been there once with Persema Malang for a friendly game, at that time we had a day off after the game and visited Gili Trawangan - it was beautiful.

So originally we planned to go rather to Gili Air, Meno or Trawangan but then I saw the "Hotel Tugu Lombok", I didn't know they also had one in Lombok as I know the one in Malang and Tugu is famous for their unique architecture and their rooms which are designed all different with Love to every single detail.

So as I saw that they have a "Tugu Hotel" in Lombok I knew where

we wanna go!

We decided to stay at the "Tugu Hotel Lombok" for 3 nights before heading to Bali.

We arrived in Mataram at the airport of Lombok in the evening around 9pm, the driver of the hotel was waiting already for us outside the airport. "The Tugu Lombok" is located in the north of Lombok, so it took us almost 2 hours to get there but this long ride is worth it!

Even though we arrived very late almost at midnight the welcome was very warm and they directly guided us to our "Bhagavat Gita Oceanfront Suite", my first impression was just WOW!

It turned out that we had a Suite with an own private pool just in front of the Ocean.

The name Bhagavat Gita is taken from the wayang tales of the Mahabharata, translated as “Song a Heaven”.

The Bhagavat Gita Oceanfront Suites are large suites housed in a beautiful building from the colonial era, with high thatched ceilings, tall antique doors, and furnishings, private tropical gardens, private lotus pond, two bathing areas with tubs carved out of boulders, private large plunge pools directly overlooking the ocean and beautiful beachfront.

The total area of a "Bhagavat Gita Suite" is 400 m2.

As maybe some of you know, breakfast is one of my favorites! At "The Tugu Lombok" you can have your breakfast whenever you want - there's no time limit, so for us it was mostly a brunch.

You can choose your meals from an á la card Menu, you can as well order as much as you want.

And one more thing, not only you can have it whenever you want but also wherever you want and there are beautiful places at "The Tugu Lombok"!

Breakfast at the beach is already an Highlight but having your breakfast at the Dragon Boat while shipping around the ocean is another level!

This is a must if you are staying at "The Tugu Lombok" - it starts at 6am so you will see the sunrise while having the most romantic breakfast at the top of the boat.

Time to explore the Hotel a bit:

"The Tugu Lombok" is located at the white sand Sire Beach, it's simply beautiful. You can hear the waves and relax at a sunchair - could there be anything better?

They provide kayaks if you want to do some sport activities, everything is very artistic at "The Tugu Lombok", the furniture is designed with so much Love.

The Service was more than excellent! All the staff were super friendly, nice and so helpful.

We had problems to book a trip to Bali, they helped us getting tickets for a Speed Boat to come to Bali.

From the first day everybody treated us like family - now I know why they call it #tugufamily!

We directly felt home and didn't want to leave anymore.

The area of "The Tugu Lombok" is huge! They have a big garden area direct at the beach with a volleyball pitch and 2 public pools.

One public pool is at the other end of the hotel, it's designed with big stone elephants, outstanding!

The other public pool is in the middle of the Hotel, where they have their restaurant.

We had afternoon tea every day at 4pm, you get Tea or Coffee served with different canapés and snacks.

The Food was an exclusive experience for gourmets!

Same like the breakfast you can have your dinner, the menu changes every day, anywhere you want.

Our dinner at the "Tugu" was as special as our Sunrise Breakfast!

They prepared everything so pretty, it was a very romantic evening with a delicious dinner.

All in all it was an amazing 3 nights stay at "The Tugu Lombok"! I'm looking forward to visit "The Tugu Lombok" again in the near future - if you're looking for chilled and relaxed holiday at a superb hotel direct at the beach "The Tugu Lombok" have to be your choice! Thank you to everybody for making this happen, all the staff were so nice - it was a pleasure!
