InterContinental Bali Resort 🇮🇩

Hi beautiful people,

After staying 3 days in Lombok it was time to go tomy favorite Island - BALI!!!

I'm always happy if I can enjoy some days off in Bali as I really love relaxing and regain energy there.

The first 2 night we stayed at the fabolous "InterContinental Bali Resort Jimbaran". Last year I already stayed there for one night so I knew what beauty awaits me there.

The "InterContinental Bali Resort Jimbaran" is one of the oldest 5 stars hotel around the area of Jimbaran, yet still one of the Best itself.

It is located at the Jimbaran Beach which is beautiful for a romantic Sunset-Dinner, if you are lucky enough you will see one of the most amazing Sunsets of Bali.

Enjoying the afternoon overlooking the ocean at one of the sunchairs is pure satisfaction.

We were lucky enough to get a room in the newly renovated Singaraja Wing, these new Singaraja Rooms are simply beautiful!

Elegance, Luxury and still keeping the "Intercontinental" Style is just outstanding.

The 49sqm Singaraja Room showcases Bali’s artisan and cultural heritage while also anticipating guests’ needs with world-class technology and facilities.

Redesigned in 2016, in keeping with the concept of the Resort, each Singaraja Room maintains the elegant craftsmanship, ambience and identity of Bali. Here, full-wall mural paintings are characterised by designs found on Balinese textiles; lattice patterned headboard panels are typical of those seen on traditional Balinese doorways, and pendant lamps are inspired by the elaborate terracotta crown finials of traditional Balinese thatched roofs.

The elegant furniture has been carefully designed to complement the hotel’s classic, vernacular architecture, while also conveying a timeless, tropical aesthetic. Indonesian wood from sustainable sources is widely used, and is combined with eye-catching accents.

Two Highlights of the Club Benefits:

The Club InterContinental Pool - because we had the Club Benefits we were allowed to use the Club Pool which is near the shoreline on immaculate lawns, Club InterContinental Pool is hidden away from the main resort area, conveniently near the Club Wing.

The 23m long pool is surrounded by decorative water features, reclining sun loungers and several thatched bale pavilions, the ultimate in relaxation and privacy.

The pool is serviced by its very own bar and dining terrace, which serves continental breakfasts, a light all-day casual dining menu and complimentary teas, coffees and mineral waters.

If you have the Club Benefits you can choose to have your breakfast in 4 different locations!

At the Club InterContinental Pool, Jimbaran Garden Restaurant at the Main Pool, Taman Gita Restaurant near the Lobby or in the Club InterContinental Lounge - the next highlight of the Club Benefits.

The Club Lounge is amazing, no it's more than amazing!

Club indulgence revolves around the elegantly designed Club InterContinental Lounge – a haven where classic colonial style meets Oriental refinement and gracious hospitality, open exclusively for Club guests 24 hours a day.

The Breakfast we always had at the Club InterContinental Lounge. You have a Buffet selection with cold dishes and an à la carte menu.

It is simply delicious, my favorite is the Eggs Benedict with Salmon - so yummy!

The joy at the Club InterContinental Lounge continues with an Afternoon Tea from 2pm-4pm.

You can enjoy freshly-made sweet and savoury treats served on a three-tiered cake stand.

Last but not least the Evening Cocktails and Canapés from 4.30pm until 7.30pm - my favorites!

As I don't drink alcohol it was more a Mocktail Evening for us but the Virgin Colada was like from another planet, simply perfect.

But you can also choose classic Cocktails or sparkling wines.

While having the Best time of your day a pianist was playing melodies on the big piano.

A buffet selection is available and warm snacks and canapés are served at your table.

If you want to have your Cocktail/Mocktail at the Pool you can enjoy it at the Club InterContinental Pool or at the Sunset Beach Bar & Grill next to to beach.

The huge area of the "InterContinental Bali Resort Jimbaran" is beautiful! The garden areas are as perfect as the pool area. At the garden they have a kids playground and a small football pitch, perfect for me to keep in shape during holiday.

Besides the Club InterContinental Pool the "InterContinental Bali Resort Jimbaran" i equipped with 4! more other Pools.

The Fun Pools, Fountain Pool, Balinese Bath Pool and the Main Pool.

Every of these oustanding pools are a beauty itself, for example the Main Pool with 35m long the largest pool in the center of the resort facing the shoreline overlooking the Bay.

Or the 15.5m Balinese Bath Pool which is positioned up from the Main Pool is a quieter relaxation area with a sun terrace and sun beds perfectly fits to relax.

There we had the most relaxed time playing cards, enjoying the sun and refreshed us in the water.

My last words are for all of the staff who accompanied us at this remarkable 3 days stay at the "InterContinental Bali Resort Jimbaran"!

Everybody were super friendly, always smiling and very helpful. The staff at the Club InterContinental Lounge is 98% balinese - they keep the roots which I really like. Service is No.1 priority and you feel it, every wish, every demand they try to fulfill.

Thank you so much "InterContinental Bali Resort Jimbaran" for this wonderful stay! We really enjoyed and had a perfect time, it's always an honour and a pleasure staying with you. I hope in the near future we will meet again!
